There are many different reasons individuals ghost others and it has a lot more to do with the ghosting party than the other person. There are some people who avoid confrontation because they don't feel comfortable having difficult conversations, and there are others who lose interest and go with the flow rather than telling it like it is. Also, fear of conflict, emotional immaturity, being too busy with personal life, and not knowing how they feel can all cause ghosting.
