Anyone else's barcode labels getting ruined by moisture on wooden pallets?

We're having a real headache at our distribution center in Dubai with our barcode scanning accuracy. We keep having to reprint and reapply labels because they get smudged, torn, or just fall off due to moisture damage, especially on our wooden pallets. It's messing with our inventory counts and causing delays at the dispatch area. I've been reading that a lot of the problems come from using porous surfaces like wood that absorb moisture, which then damages adhesive labels over time . I'm seriously considering switching to plastic pallets since they're non-porous and much easier to keep clean and dry, which should protect the labels better. I'm on the lookout for moisture resistant plastic pallets for barcode label protection UAE. Does anyone have experience with this? Did switching to plastic solve your label adhesion and readability issues, or did you have to do something else as well?

This was a good read. It's refreshing to see a balanced explanation that covers both the advantages and the downsides instead of only highlighting the positives. Every option has its strengths and weaknesses, and understanding those trade-offs is much more valuable than simply chasing whatever is considered the strongest at launch. https://777pinup.com
