I've had my 2015 Jeep Wrangler JK lifted on 35s for about two years and I've been taking it to various shops around Mussafah. Most of them treat it like a regular car and don't understand the unique needs of a lifted Jeep, like proper caster adjustment, checking the driveshaft angles, and torquing the track bar correctly. A friend recommended a place that offers Premium Jeep Care Mussafah and I finally took it there for a full service and suspension check. The mechanic actually knew what I was talking about when I mentioned death wobble and bump steer. He adjusted the toe and caster, tightened the track bar bolts, and even noticed a worn tie rod end that I had missed. The car drives better now than it has in years. It cost a bit more than the average shop but for the expertise and peace of mind, I think it's worth it. Has anyone else found a specialist for their lifted Jeep in Mussafah that they trust? Also wondering if they offer any kind of offroad prep service before dune trips. Just wanted to share a positive experience. Thanks.

Whining noise from the rear when coasting, goes away when I accelerate

I've got a 2016 BMW X3 xDrive and I've noticed this high pitched whine coming from the back of the car when I let off the gas, especially between 60 and 80 km/h. When I press the accelerator, the noise stops immediately. Then when I coast again, it comes back. A friend who's a mechanic said it might be the rear differential, specifically the pinion bearing. I checked the fluid level and it was a bit low, so I topped it up but the noise is still there. I don't want to just ignore it until something breaks on the highway. I'm looking for a Proven Differential Repair Service that can actually diagnose whether it's the bearings or the gears themselves. Has anyone here had this exact symptom on an F25 X3 and found a fix that didn't require a full diff replacement? Also wondering if a worn driveshaft center bearing could make a similar noise. The car has 130k km on it and otherwise runs great. I'm in Abu Dhabi but willing to drive to Dubai for a specialist. Any recommendations for a shop that won't just quote me for a whole new differential would be great. Thanks.

I know this might sound like a silly question but I'm looking at a 2015 Ford Explorer in Al Nahda and I want to be thorough. The car seems great but I've been burned before where I bought a car and later found out the spare tire was missing and the jack was broken. I'm planning to get a Veteran Pre-Purchase Inspection Dubai done on this Explorer. Does a typical inspection include checking the spare tire pressure, condition, and the presence of all tools? Also what about the first aid kit and triangle? I know these are small things but replacing them costs money and it's annoying to discover later. Should I specifically ask the inspector to check these items or is it usually included? The seller says everything is there but I don't wanna take his word for it. For those of you who've gotten inspections, did the report mention the spare or just the main tires? Any advice on what else to ask the inspector to check that might be overlooked would be great. Thanks.

After driving my Volkswagen daily, I realized both the interior and exterior were starting to show wear, and I wanted it to feel fresh again. I went for Volkswagen interior and exterior detailing, and the results were fantastic. The team carefully cleaned and polished every surface, from the dashboard and seats to the paint and wheels, bringing back that crisp, new-car feel. What I really appreciated was how thorough they were without making it feel overdone, and stepping back into the car afterward felt like driving a brand-new vehicle again.
My car battery died unexpectedly one evening, and I was really worried about getting stranded. I found a reliable car battery service in Jebel Ali Village, and the experience was much smoother than I expected. The team arrived quickly, assessed the problem on the spot, and replaced the battery efficiently while making sure everything was working perfectly. I especially appreciated how professional and friendly they were, taking the time to explain how to keep the new battery in good condition. It turned a stressful situation into a completely hassle-free experience, and now I feel confident my car is ready for anything.
